Tony's Bigger Barbecue

Tony's Bigger Barbecue is a charity event that takes place every August Bank Holiday Sunday at Wellington Cricket Club. With local food, real ale, games and live music throughout the day, the village fete atmosphere makes it a hugely popular afternoon out for locals and visitors alike.

Organised almost single-handedly by town butcher Anthony Nicholls, it is now into its ninth year and to date has raised over £10,000 for the NSPCC and Hope House.
